Between Light and Darkness

A late summer evening in Victoria park in Leicester, Midlands. The nature's play of llight with darkness. Painted originally plein air in 2017 and then reworked and updated in 2024, to stand in line with my current output and painting style. It is characterised by mood, thick impasto and the gestural painting style. Media: oil on canvasboard. 30.5 x 25.5 cm  (12 x 10 in).
